Joshua Wilkinson, the founder of Provision Films. Born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Philadelphia. Joshua has a strong background in urban art culture and his love for films began at a young age. However, he began pursuing a career in track and field, but under difficult circumstance, he had to make a choice. Then he decided to redirect his focus to his first love of filmmaking, which birthed out of wanting to be a voice in the Christian community while using film as his medium. Joshua has been actively perfecting his craft since 2017 with his first film Running To Faith. In May 2020, he officially earned a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts at the University of the Arts.
Originally under J Media Productions, Joshua parted ways with his previous endeavors and relaunched as Provision Films, LLC. Joshua is dedicated to storytelling about redemption, resilience and truth.
